In the west part of the house are three charming guest rooms, in a quiet and resting environment.
Colors and decoration of the rooms are in harmony with the pastoral atmosphere which impregnates the whole of the property.
They have as names:
The room Pastel
The room Olive
The room Genęt
All three offer calms and comfort. Each one has a water room with toilet and shower.
The room PASTEL opens its window on the garden, while OLIVE and GENĘT open on the valley of the
Lauze (Lauze is the brook which curves between the domaines of Prunet and Calvayrac).
Guest table
In Calvayrac, friendliness is the master word and meals at the guest table are obvious moments
to « cultivate » it.
After one day spent to discover the thousand and one treasures of the cathar country, you will
to relax you in the garden by tasting an aperitif before sitting you around the table drawn up in the large living room whose mezzanine is girded
of a monumental balustrade (the proportions and the profile was copied from that of the church of Montreal-d'Aude which is
carved in the red marble veined of white which one extracted formerly, for the castle of Versailles, of the careers of Causne-in-Minervois.
Jacqueline proposes to you a cooking of personal inspiration and French tradition, a passion which
comes to him from a grandmother “cordon-bleu cook”.
Among the impossible to circumvent ones, the cassoulet, of course! But also the Saint-Pierre with
its small vegetables and the lemon cream sauce, the fowl with tarragon, the filet-mignon with onion marmelade, etc...
The meal will be naturally accompanied by wine of the vintage, one of these wonders of balance
created with some steps from Calvayrac by the vine growers of the hills of the MALEPERE.
At the beautiful season, you will be able to dine on the table of stone of the garden; the come winter,
the guests table will be installed in front of the large chimney to benefit from the environment and the heat of the blazes of "yeuses".
